What kind of oil do I use in the pump and also in the pressure washer? I have a Honda 3600 psi commercial washer

On the 3600 psi 2.5 GPM AAA Triplex pump there is a pressure control knob on this unit. How far should you be able to move the knob in the counterclock position? Im turning it and it only moves at the most 1/4 inch. Is this normal?
